Truesilver Ore can be found wherever there are Mithril Ore deposits, but also where there’s Thorium Ore deposits. That means there are a few different zones to find this ore in, though keep in mind it’s still a rarity.

What addons are used for farming Truesilver Ore in WoW?
- The addon Routes.

Is this a Truesilver Ore Mining route for Classic WoW?
No. I play retail, not Classic World of Warcraft, so these routes might not be the ones for you to go by.
In case they aren’t, you might want to check out VanillaGuides, as they might have updated Mining routes for Classic. In the end, I don’t think I’l actually obtain Classic for farming means, as the hype flamed out pretty fast. But if people request it enough, I’ll put it on the backburner.
What professions benefit from Mining?
Mining, because you can’t exactly mine without said profession to begin with, and because this is a rare ore. You won’t be able to prospect it or anything.
What Mining routes aren’t mentioned?
There’s only one zone that you can’t get a good amount of Mithril in while farming the route in question, but every other one is good to go.
Dismissed Zones
- Searing Gorge
This zone can net you a decent chunk of Truesilver, but not as a standalone mining route, therefore it can only be found as an herb/mining combo route in my In-Depth Farming Guide. - Winterspring (route 1)
This zone actually has two routes, and the second one didn’t net me a good enough amount to put on this guide, but the first route I made, consisting of the lower portion, netted me a lot. Unfortunately, it’s only for those who have purchased my In-Depth Farming Guide.
What Mining routes aren’t mentioned?
You have a chance of gathering Aquamarine, Citrine, and Star Ruby.
Maps, Routes, and Data
Reduced resolution
The routes in this section offer you full view of the maps in question, at a reduced resolution of 1280×720. In order to get the full resolution of 2560×1440, you’ll need to purchase my In-Depth Farming Guide. It offers a variety of routes for each zone, with all the data I’ve accumulated over the years of farming.
- Since Truesilver Ore can be obtained via the same routes as both Mithril and Thorium Ore, some of the information below is the same.
- My miner is a Horde druid, thus giving faster in-and-out flight form.
- Overall farming time per zone: 30 minutes.
Eastern Kingdoms
Burning Steppes
You get a ton of ore from this place, so it’s super good if you need a ton of Mithril, some Truesilver, and not to mention an arrangement of gems.The only thing you need to look out for is getting near a few horde NPCs as well as a small alliance campsite.

Silithus
I love farming this location because it nets a ton of Thorium, however, there are several ore in underground hives that I don’t go into. Despite this, the amount of ore you can get in this zone is great. Also, you don’t get too close to any opposing faction areas.

Winterspring (Route 1)
This route doesn’t differ too much from the upper portion of the farming route I’ve created, but the RNG was on my side on the lower half here. I did run into someone several times mining ore, but since the place is so big, it was never much of an issue anyway.
The only real issue are the trees.
