Northern Stranglethorn – A Zone Overview in World of Warcraft

Northern Stranglethorn is a contested zone, meant for players level 25-60 and founded in Classic World of Warcraft. I remember questing in this zone multiple times, and some of those quests really stick with you. How can you forget that cute little raptor you get from the Egg Fragment?

Below are the types of treasure chests that I’ve found in Northern Stranglethorn. You won’t be able to find a chest in every single location they appear in, and they are on a timer if someone happens to take the specific chests in the zone before you.

The foliage in this zone isn’t as heavy to me when mining for ore, but if you don’t mine enough of the ore that shows up on the map through this route, the respawn times will take longer. Simply make sure you grab the ore as you see it pop up on the map. Also, I avoid the cave areas and make sure everything is out in the open.
