Return to Elpenor in Phokis

I don’t know what choices you made, and it makes me cringe knowing my own choices–just for curiosity’s sake, I made both decisions in regards to our father, but either way, Barnabas doesn’t judge you. Unlike everyone else in this game.

Make your way northwest to Phokis, where you can dock your ship at the port.

Now head on over to Elpenor’s place for a cutscene and what looks like some important choices to make, though the end result is the same no matter what you choose.

1. Why did you want Nikolaos dead?
   1. My birth father might live.
   2. My mother is still alive.
   3. I’m not telling you.
2. How did you know about Nikolaus?
   1. My birth father might live.
   2. My mother is still alive.
   3. I’m not telling you.
3. I don’t care, you deserve to die.

In the end, there’s only one choice that’ll be the quickest, and that’s the third option. The other choices offer more dialogue from Elpenor, which will help you understand his motives behind wanting Nikolaos dead. Also, the first two options will open others–again, more filler content for storyline purposes.

After the conversation, two armored guards will attack.

Investigate Elpenor’s house

As noted in the screenshot, there are three investigative clues to study. Two different notes and a ship manifest.
