The Ends of the Earth is a quest within the game Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden.
The Ends of the Earth Guide
Find your way
In the cave you’re left in you can find The Origin of Banishers on a desk as well as the Seeker’s Message.
Head on out and follow the direct path forward as it takes you along the shoreline and through some rocky crevices until you’re out in the open again. At this point, you’ll be heading upward for a fight with some wolves.
You’ll learn about the threat indicator here.
Continue upwards for another fight and a short cutscene that’ll kind of urge you to continue on.
You’ll end up inside of a cave, chasing after Antea’s voice and another fight. Once done, you’ll see Antea’s ghostly reflection in the waterfalls, but it’s the waterfall above the first step that you’ll finally be able to make contact with her.
After you follow her, you’ll have a conversation about what the future might hold, and then the unveil screen.
It’ll be where you level up skills with the points you have.
Once you have your rest, you can upgrade your equipment as well as long as you have the appropriate ingredients.
Find an exit
When you enter the next area with some kind of summoning circle on the ground, you can read Demonologist’s Note (1).
Take Antea’s hand afterwards in order to see things you couldn’t before, and to learn about spectral webs. You’ll now have the ability to get rid of spectral webbing around things so Red can retrieve stuff, such as the key to the occultist’s equipment.
This is further elaborated on when the tutorial for hidden spectral sources appears.
Up ahead, you’ll have to veer to the path to the right and drop down to fight some enemies and learn how Antea can be used in certain combat scenarios. After that, use Antea in order to find Demonologist’s Note (2).
Leave the cave.
Find your way through the forest
The first fight you have up ahead will deal with spirit possessions, in which the game will mention possess and interruption. Basically, if you see a spirit heading to something to possess, you’ll want to attack it and interrupt before it manages to do it.
Otherwise, you’ll need Antea to do more damage to it than Red can.
At the nearby small camp you can pick up Blaming the Living.
Continue on by skirting the edge of a cliff, then climbing upwards. Beyond the small pond you can see out to where possible civilization exists. Now you just have to make your way there.
On your way, you’ll encounter a tangled path that you don’t have to ability to get through just yet. And when you approach the broken bridge, Antea will mention some spectral stains that you don’t quite know what to do with as well.
Which leads you with the only choice to go–down.
