Peacebloom is one of the first herbs you can gather with the Herbalism profession. As such, it’s more than likely going to have a lot of competition. Especially for those who have switched professions and need the herbs to up their professional skill.

Alternatively, most people farm for more ore than they do herbs, so perhaps not.

I remember the one reason I began farming herbs was due to an interest in making the variety of glyphs for my characters. There were so many of them! Unlike with Legion, which cut the major ones out and ended up with a lot of minor for aesthetic purposes.

FAQ

What are your PC specs?

  • You can find them on my PC specs page.

What addons are used for farming Peacebloom in WoW?

  • The addon Routes.
  • The addon FarmHUD.
  • The addons Gathermate2 and WoWGatheringNodes.

Is this a Peacebloom herbalism route for Classic WoW?

No. I play retail, not Classic World of Warcraft, so these routes might not be the ones for you to go by.

In case they aren’t, you might want to check out wow-professions, as they might have updated Herbalism routes for Classic. The differences between the maps are dependent on the lands shifting with every expansion. (Our world changes over time, so why shouldn’t Azeroth, right?)

What professions benefit from Herbalism?

Obviously Herbalism is going to be your go-to profession first and foremost, because you can’t exactly pick flowers without said profession to begin with. Though you can still acquire herbs through other means–such as treasures out in the world and chests you pick up while fishing.

There are two different secondary professions you can choose from that coincide with Herbalism, as far as Peacebloom goes.

  1. Alchemy
  2. Inscription

First up is Alchemy. A lot of the minor potions that give a small stat boost will need Peacebloom. Meaning it’s kind of a top priority to have this herb if people have just obtained the alchemy profession and need to raise their skill.

Inscription requires you to have herbs, in order to mill them down into pigments. As pigments, an Inscriptionist can then craft them into inks, which can then lead to further crafting. So if someone with Inscription doesn’t have Herbalism, they’ll be searching the Auction House for the herbs needed.

What Herbalism routes aren’t mentioned?

There are several zones I had no interest in making an herbalism route in, some for actual route-making reasons, while others are more because they don’t allow flying.

Dismissed Zones

  • Dun Morogh
There just weren’t enough herb locations in Dun Morogh to make it worth my while. Not to mention, there’s a phased area that makes the route disappear for a short time, and there are alliance patrols, making it bad for horde.

No-Flying Zones
Due to the fact that these are no-flying zones, I didn’t offer any kind of routes on them. This doesn’t mean that they won’t provide you with a decent amount of Peacebloom as you level. It’s just…nobody likes traveling a route via ground mount. Unless they play Classic.

  • The Lost Isles (Horde)
  • Eversong Woods (Horde)
  • Gilneas (Alliance)
  • Azuremyst Isle (Alliance)
  • Bloodmyst Isle (Alliance)

Maps, Routes, and Data

Reduced resolution
The routes in this section offer you full view of the maps in question, at a reduced resolution of 1280×720. In order to get the full resolution of 2560×1440, you’ll need to purchase my In-Depth Farming Guide. It offers a variety of routes for each zone, with all the data I’ve accumulated over the years of farming.

  • My farmer is a Horde druid, thus giving faster in-and-out flight form.
  • Overall farming time per zone: 30 minutes.

Eastern Kingdoms

Eastern Kingdoms provides two zones for herbing Peacebloom with respect to both the factions of alliance and horde. The both of these factions can criss-cross into each other’s territory, but keep in mind each zone is home to a capital city. Meaning there will be level-capped players somewhere in the area.

Elwynn Forest

Peacebloom Farming in Elwynn Forest

This is an Alliance zone.

Almost everyone farms this place for herbs or ore. Plus, it’s a good place for ground mounts and you can run into a few different rares if they’ve happened to have spawned. A word of caution: Horde needs to watch out for patrols on the road.

  • Peacebloom – 130

Tirisfal Glades

Peacebloom Farming in Tirisfal Glades

This is a Horde zone.

There are a few cliffsides in this route, hence ground mounts might find a tad bit of difficulty. On the other hand, the herbs are fairly close together, and there’s an abundance of them in case someone is following the route while questing. But…as far as straight farming, there isn’t too much Peacebloom in this zone as a whole.

  • Peacebloom – 107

Kalimdor

Kalimdor has three zones worth searching for Peacebloom in, though two of them are more catered toward the horde faction while the other is more explicitly alliance. Not to say horde can’t go there, but it’s a bit of a ways out for them.

Durotar

Peacebloom Farming in Durotar

This is a Horde zone.

Alliance be warned, this path goes over the opposing faction’s town. Or through it, depending. It’s not the best path for ground mounts, but it’s decent. Even if you’re just questing throughout the zone, you’re bound to find a lot of Peacebloom.

  • Peacebloom – 145

Mulgore

Peacebloom Farming in Mulgore

This is a Horde zone.

Honestly, I don’t like this zone for farming herbs, but I decided to throw it in because it’s an easy route to follow, and one that ground mounts won’t have much problem with. It’s not the most proficient in the amount of herbs gathered, but it does the job if other places are being farmed.

  • Peacebloom – 122

Teldrassil

Peacebloom Farming in Teldrassil

This is an Alliance zone.

I originally created this route to be split into two different ones, in case of competition, but competition isn’t too widespread in starter zones like this. Ground mounts are also good for farming here, as the herbs are everywhere.

  • Peacebloom – 169

Professions

If you’re curious as to how much gold you can possibly gain from the items listed below, you can always check out The Undermine Journal, choose your region, and then your realm. After that, search for the items below and see what they’ve been selling for lately.

Alchemy

Minor Healing Potion
Skill: 1 | Crafted material | Learned via Profession Trainer
The perfect potion for lower level players. There have actually been plenty of times where I was stuck in a location with too many mobs and didn’t have a potion on me. Probably would’ve saved my life. Worst case scenario, I still would’ve died.

Requires:

  • (1) Peacebloom
  • (1) Silverleaf
  • (1) Crystal Vial

Elixir of Minor Fortitude
Skill: 50 | Crafted material | Learned via Profession Trainer
Due to its health increase, I’d say this elixir is suitable for tanks, to increase their survivability in dungeons.

Requires:

  • (2) Earthroot
  • (1) Peacebloom
  • (1) Crystal Vial

Minor Rejuvenation Potion
Skill: 40 | Crafted material | Learned via Profession Trainer
Are you a class that has mana in order to cast spells? Are you squishy and prone to taking damage? Or maybe you’re a healer that fears dying from too much aggro. This potion may be for you.

Requires:

  • (2) Mageroyal
  • (1) Peacebloom
  • (1) Crystal Vial

Weak Troll’s Blood Elixir
Skill: 15 | Crafted material | Learned via Profession Trainer
It regenerates health. It may be a bit more useful in battlegrounds, when people are actually after you and you’re needing a safe way to heal while remaining in the battle.

Requires:

  • (1) Peacebloom
  • (2) Earthroot
  • (1) Crystal Vial

Inscription

Alabaster Pigment
Created by milling Peacebloom, Earthroot, or Silverleaf.

Requires:

  • Stacks of five of the herbs mentioned above.
