Wolves at Our Heels is an alliance quest in Duskwood per Classic World of Warcraft.
The dire wolves are the most common threat to the townsfolk here. They lurk in the forests on all sides of us, though most are along the north bank of the river.
These aren’t the runt dogs you see in Elwynn, or wherever you come from. They’re big as a man and twice as vicious.
If you wish to assist the people of Darkshire, hunt the dire wolves so our streets can be safer.
Quest Objective:
Kill 12 Dire Wolves.

- Ends: Commander Althea Ebonlocke (73.6,47)
The wolves are located along the upper portion of the map, near the shoreline. They’re a bit spaced out, so there’s not one place where you can end them all. You’ll just need to run along the way and find them, but take note that this area can be heavy with other players as it is one of the main quests for leveling, and this area is really good to kill spiders.
There’s really nothing else to the quest.
Possible rare nearby
In the area of looking for the wolves, be on the lookout for the rare named Lupos. He’s tameable, but there’s nothing really unique with his looks.
