The Builder Test is a mission in the game My Time at Portia.
The Builder Test Guide
Make a Simple Axe and a Pickaxe and show them to Presley as part of the Builder Test
Head back to your Workshop and interact with your Worktable. You’ll need to build a Simple Axe and a Pickaxe from here, and many other future supplies.
What all do I need?
Simple Axe:
- Wood – 5
- Stone – 8
Pickaxe:
- Wood – 8
- Stone – 5
Total:
- Wood – 13
- Stone – 13
Don’t forget you’ll also need 36 Wood in order to take care of the boards in your house. So essentially, you’ll want a total of 49 Wood. Save fixing your house until the end of the day, however, or you’ll lose time out of your day.
Once you’ve crafted your tools, speak with Presley again for the second portion of the test.
The Builder Test Part 2
Again, frolic on home, but this time check out your Assembly Station, as we’re going to need to make a stone furnace this time.
What all do I need?
Mats:
- Wood – 10
- Stone – 10
Crafted:
- Stone Stool – 1
Total:
- Wood – 10
- Stone – 10
- Stone Stool – 1
You should be good to go at this point, because you now have both of the tools on your hand. Just make sure you chop the small bushes down instead of larger ones that either you can’t or take too much stamina. Same goes for if you’re going to be mining rocks. Stick to the smaller rubble.
Once you’ve acquired enough stone, use your worktable to make the Stone Stool.
Compile them all together in their appropriate spots on the Assembly Station and you’ve got yourself a Stone Furnace!
Head back to Presley and turn the quest in.
He’ll then give you your Builder License and request that you go see Gale in the next quest Register Workshop.
