Register Workshop is a mission in My Time at Portia. Speak with Gale to name your workshop.

Register with the Mayor Gale
The mission states that you need to register at the Town Hall, which is one building over, but that’s not the case. The only reason it suggests that is because Gale is normally there, and that’s who you need to speak with.
However, he’s not always going to be in there.
Such as with my playthrough, he was already out of Town Hall and walking around the fountain, which is where I finished the mission.
Speaking with Gale allows you to name your Workshop, but you don’t have a lot of space for characters, so make it count.
Return to the Commerce Guild to complete the mission.
