Rude Awakening is part of Battle for the Northern Way in Rygjafylke within the game Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Kill Kjotve’s spy
Look at that dude trying to get away from the village undetected. And with another friend of his as well. Don’t worry, he’ll get what’s coming to him.
If you follow at a bit of a distance and stay crouched in the tall grass, he’ll end up winding around the building and coming into the grass anyway, where you can stealth kill him. At this point, call Sunin and find the main point of interest being the icy blocks not too far from you. There are a couple enemies that have a small camp set up there.
I typically climb up the rocky structure and jump assassinate the one, then sneak up on the other.
You can take them out however you see fit. I realize most Vikings probably wouldn’t sneak around bushes but I guess I have to stick to the whole title of Assassin’s Creed, y’know? Sorry, I’ll do better.
Reach Sigurd
Head back to town where the docks are and you’ll find Sigurd having an argument about Kjotve with his father.
Approach for a cutscene.
Pillage Kjotve’s supplies
Ironically, you don’t have to do anything in this section except reach Nottfall where you’ll be doing the pillaging and burning of Kjotve’s goods and the murdering of his men. Once you’re close enough to the location, the quest log will update.
Find and burn the supply wagons
There aren’t too many supply wagons in the area, but they are scattered throughout. Luckily, the fighting your men do may trigger an explosion to happen from some of them.
With that being said, they do sit surrounded by flaming pots, so you can one with an arrow from a distance and cause it to explode.
You’ll know if you’re finished when you have a short cutscene announcing ships are coming in and your quest log will update.
Optional – Book of Knowledge
Toward the back of the area is a cave you can enter.
Climb one of the sides, since you can’t open the main door. On the pedestal is a book. You’ll get the ability Throwing Axe Fury.
Reach Sigurd
Approach Sigurd down by the docks for a cutscene with a new crew and an approaching showdown with Kjotve.
