Directly after completing your beginning path’s mission, you’ll end up in a car with Jackie, who hands you a Militech Training Shard. You’ll need to accept it in order to start this mission.

Go straight ahead and speak with the drill sergeant, who will be replaced by T-Bug.

Combat Basics

Grab the Lexington and shoot at the stable targets. In the next round, shoot the targets, but this time they’re moving. The next gun to choose is an Ajax. Time time you need to crouch for cover and peek over the barrier in order to kill the enemy.

You’ve been hit! Take the MaxDoc and heal yourself.

Head to the next section where you’ll come across three enemies. One’s at top while the other two are on the bottom floor. Use your crouching skills.

Hacking

Go up to the window and scan both the laptop and the server.

At the second window, scan the screen in order to distract the enemy. Hop down and crouch to sneak up behind the enemy, then take him out.

Pick up the body and dump it in the appropriate location. Sneak up to the next enemy and do the same. This time you’ll automatically dump the body into hiding.

In the next area, go up to the window and hack the camera. Scan the guard and choose breach protocol. Next, choose detonate grenade in order to kill the both of them.

Stealth

Go to the window and scan, then tag each of the four enemies.

Go through the now open pathway and down the steps. Crouch straight ahead toward the lone enemy on the far side–one of them will notice you, but it’s fine, because you’ll keep moving out of their line of sight.

Continue to the next portion, keeping out of sight, then walk up to the star.

Up the stairs, look through the window and scan, then tag the camera. Now all you need to do is crouch out of the camera’s line of sight and take off when it’s no longer focused on you.

Advanced Combat

Go forward and fall downward, then crouch up to the enemy for a failed sneak-attack.

When the next enemy comes out to play, you’ll learn how to throw some punches as well as combo attacks and strong attacks. Once you’ve mastered those, the next enemies will teach you about blocking, counterattacks, and dodging.

At the end of it all, you’ll need to combine your skills.

Time for melee weapons! Grab the Katana, then use all your skills to defeat the single enemy.

Go to the star and you’ll be met with three enemies. To lesser ones and another that has a bit more armor on him. Two of them come at you with gun, but another has a melee weapon, so kill them however you see fit.

Go to the star and leave the simulation.
