Poon Puzzle, what you’ve just read is exactly what you’ll get.

I have to say I was a little leery about getting this game, just because I figured it would be like every other hentai puzzle game that was too easy to bother with and flooded you with achievements.

While it does sort of flood you with achievements still, it’s actually a pretty good game.

Who is this game for?

Game length

3-5 hours for base game

Where can you buy?

Pros:

  • Controller or keyboard compatible
  • Play one-handed

Explanation to Negative Feedback

No big Os

Despite the end result for the women being a full nude scene, I don’t feel like we’ve satisfied them enough, as there’s no build-up to an orgasm. All they do is say a line during the piecing together of the puzzle, and at the end when you’re done.

Not voice acted, mind you, but that’s fine.

I just wish there could’ve been a bit more to the end result to really kinda be proud of those achievements, yeah?

Strange music choice

It seems that most women have their own soundtrack in the game, and while I mostly enjoy all of it…there’s one piece of music that made me wonder where the heck they got it and why did they put it into the game.

Instead of simple nice piano music, the one I’m talking about has lyrics to it, but it’s not quite a calm and peaceful lyrical piece.

And the singing of actual words took me out of what I was doing every time I heard it.

Three puzzle phases for every female

Poon Puzzle Review

Let me just say that there are 18 girls total for the base game.

I’m very happy to have that much of a selection for a game like this, because we don’t always get a high number like that. And while the first few women I did puzzles on weren’t nude, I was still okay with it, because again some of these games like to mix and match between barely clothed females to fully nude one.

But then I got another puzzle that came back around to a female I’d already done a puzzle on and I inwardly groaned because I’ve played some of these games where they use the exact same image and tweak the gameplay a little bit to…I don’t know, make it different enough that they don’t think people would actually mind.

(And we do mind, damnit.)

So the game recycled the same three females, and did it again before it finally clicked.

The women have three phases–one is clothed, the next is topless, and then full nude. So you have to piece together their images three different times.

I mean, yeah, okay. We do get the nude image eventually, and the puzzles do get more difficult with flipping and turning mechanics, but this just feels like a cop-out way to lengthen a game.

Explanation to Positive Feedback

Animated ladies

Rejoice, for these images are not static ones, but subtly animated. And they continue their subtle movements even before the puzzle is completed. It’s a bit of a distraction, but also helps find where some of the pieces go at times.

Also, if you’re going to complain about the animation during the piecing of the puzzles a distraction, then what do you think the nudity is going to be?

Yeah. A distraction.

Controller or keyboard compatible

I think it’s cool they added controller compatibility, because they usually don’t do that for these kinds of games. There’s just never really a reason to do it, I guess, and I don’t really see the reason for doing it for this game either…except maybe some people prefer it.

While I like the idea…I hated using the controller.

It was just too clunky for me, I had an easier time moving things around with the mouse rather than using the LB and RB buttons to choose a piece, and then other buttons for rotations.

But hey, if you’re a glutton for abuse and prefer the challenge, go for controller.

Play one-handed

Well, if you plan on playing it with a mouse you can play it one-handed, but for those of you who want to try it on a controller…I think that’d take two.

That may be problem…unless you’re really flexible. (No proof required.)

Puzzles aren’t always easy

Poon Puzzle Review

And thank god for that.

I hate when I buy one of these games and the puzzles are super simple 6-piece puzzles that you have to prove you’ve got the brain capacity of a kindergartener just to get the NSFW image–if it is even NSFW.

I get it, I set myself up for this kind of crap when I actually buy these games, because what else was I expecting, but this one’s a bit refreshing in the sense that the controls are easy, and it’s not always about putting one piece in the correct spot.

Sometimes there are a lot of pieces, sometimes there are really small pieces, and sometimes you have to flip or rotate.
