Hunter’s Moon is part of a mission in the location of Cozumel in the game Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Hunter’s Moon Walkthrough

Explore the Ruins (section one)

Crawl through the opening and to the left of this little area is a Resource Container and a Mural for Mam.

Fire an arrow at the white rope on the barricade to bring it down.

When you go through the doorway, cut the trip wire so you don’t die. Scramble under the body piercing arrows and look up. There’s a death whistle to shoot for the challenge Whispers in the Dark. Crawl through the cavern of rats until you come out the other side.

Grab the Resource Container right in front of you.

Head to the left side. There’s a section where you can grab another Resource Container.

All right, go back to the right side and jump across to the other section. All the way to the back, you’ll find a place to dig. Turn around and go into the open corridor and climb the wall to access the second floor. At the end to the left, find another death whistle and shoot it for the challenge.

Turn around and by the hall you came out of is an artifact for Mam.

Down the steps there’s a section to the right you won’t be able to get to unless you have the Reinforced Knife. If you don’t have it, move on.

At the edge of the platform, jump onto the ledge of the third floor to the right of you. Jump across to the other portion via the pole and grab the Resource Container. That’s…basically it.

Take a dive in the water.

Now, face the way you’re supposed to go, and in an underwater area to the right is a location you can dig at. The right side will have a Resource Container. In the center area of the pool, you can find an artifact in a box via Mam.

Explore the Ruins (section two)

I’ve split the sections for Hunter’s Moon up for an easier read (hopefully), so here we’re going through the waterway.

Go through the waterway. At this part, the only thing you’ll come across is an air pocket, where you can take a breath before you drown, and an arrogant Moray Eel. Watch as Lara struggles to get through the tight underwater crevice and then help her out so she can get through.

Once out, turn around and shoot the death whistle for the challenge.

As an apology for having you almost die, the game has set a Resource Container in front of you. In order to go left, you’ll need the Reinforced Knife. If you don’t have it, carry on.

Approach the wall to pick up a map that may expose locations of certain objects of interest.

Through the hall, you’re going to want to cut the trip wire. Crawl under the spears and jump onto the rocky surface for some wall climbing.

Get to the top of the pyramid

Oh this place is a fun one.

Jump onto the first platform (you’ll almost fall) and then hop onto the others the same way until you’re on steady ground. There’s a Resource Container up ahead. Follow the path for another container up ahead, then go up the steps.

Shoot an arrow at the white ropes to break the boards, then push the cart down.

Head up and jump on the platform, then jump onto the next one (you’ll almost fall). Shoot the death whistle up ahead for the challenge, and jump onto the area in question.

Tether a rope to the top beam and head up there. Instead of continuing forward, hang off the ledge and rock climb down. Rappel downward and swing until you’re on the bottom area. Dig here, then check out the explorer’s backpack. Jump and die so you’re reset back at the top area.

Tether a rope to the upper beam and head across for some ore and a chest that needs lockpicks to open.

Go back to the other side.

There’s a monument for Mam to inspect. Just through the doorway is a Resource Container on the right. Cut the trip wire and crawl under the trap.

Hop on the platform and get to the other side.

Get to the top of the pyramid – Cart Puzzle

Push the cart down onto the middle section.

Go up to where the wheel is and take what’s in the crate. Pull the wheel until the cart’s ropes are facing you. Cut the rope and shoot an arrow at the cart to tether the rope to it instead. Up ahead is a death whistle–fire at will for the challenge. Rotate the wheel to pull the cart up, then cut the rope to have it crash into the debri at the bottom.

Head to the upper section and jump on the platform, then quickly jump onto the rope ladder and climb.

There’s a container with crap for you. Progress forward, double-jump up the wall and start climbing. Bats will come out of nowhere and you’ll almost fall, but keep going until you can rock climb and rappel downward for a cutscene.

Exit the temple

You’ve done a bad thing, and now you have to leave.

It’s a straightforward path so there’s not much to say, other than the fact there’s a container you can take stuff from and a wall you’ll have to break through to get to the other side. Which happens to be a jungle-esque area, ironically.

Get through the dig site

Stealth kill the dude coming up on you, then double-jump the wall to get to the next area.

Sneak up to the first guy and kill him, then you’re free to take care of the two other guards as you see fit. Once you’ve looted their corpses, check out the area for a variety of crates that I won’t spell out for you. Sorry. We’re getting into the nitty-gritty of the walkthrough now.

Press forward and jump two sets of walls for a section with more enemies.

Once you’ve cleared them in this area, there’s more in the next one. Also, taking out the guys in the next area will summon reinforcements, so keep an eye on the doorway up ahead, as that’s where they’ll all be charging out of, in different waves.

Lara will say something once everyone’s dead, then you can continue your looting spree.

Before you go through the gate, there’s a container in the separate section.

Okay, continue on for a cutscene and the end to Hunter’s Moon.
