Heavy is the Head Guide

Walk with Ivarr

You’ll only be walking a short distance while chatting it up with Ivarr about yourself and him and the views you might have on one another. Once you reach the top bench and Ivarr scares the others away, there’s a cutscene.

Choices don’t matter.

Reach the longhouse

Heavy is the Head

When you drink you really drink.

In fact, you’re still drunk, but you’ll have to get over it, because you need to get to the crowning before you miss it. It’s straight up the hill, within the large building. Upon entering, a cutscene will begin.

Travel to Repton

Fast travel to Repton.

Hop down from your post and chat with one of the friendlies (I can’t remember his name, okay?) who mentions an area that Ceolbert might be in and head that way.

Search for Ceolbert on the Isle of Waifs

Heavy is the Head

Just to clarify, Ceolbert is on the Isle of Waifsnot Waifus.

Though he might’ve preferred the latter.

Once you get there, just walk until there’s an open area underneath a structure. You can have Synin find it by looking around with an aerial view, but there’s no actual indicator as to where Ceolbert actually is.

When you’re close enough, you’ll start talking and hear voices as well.

Head through for a cutscene and a fight.

Defeat Leofrith

Heavy is the Head

He’s pretty quick, so your best bet is to parry when he comes at you and break him down bit by bit like that. Once he falls to the ground you can attack him then however you please, with the prompt it gives you, or your own style.

If he puts distance between you, try an ability that has distance on it (Throwing Axe Fury, for instance), just know that he can and will dodge certain abilities (such as Rage of Helheim).

He wasn’t difficult, and the fight didn’t last too long.

Do choices matter?

After the battle is over, you’re met with two choices.

  • (Spare) Burgred abandoned you.
  • (Kill) Pray to your god now.

If you spare him, he’ll tell you about a scroll with your name on it that you must burn before it’s seen by the zealots, otherwise they’ll come after you and won’t stop until they kill you.

If you kill him, then you obviously won’t know about the scroll, will you?

Bring Ceolbert back to the brothers

Whichever choice you decide on, in the end, you’ll need to escort the boy back to the brothers in Repton, where a cutscene will finally end the quest.
