The Old Guard is one of the mysteries in Snotinghamscire within the game Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
The Old Guard Guide
When you get to this area, all you need to do is sit on the bench, and you’ll start conversing with the man before you. Eventually, he’ll give you the key to his house in Repton (which you might’ve noticed at one point was locked and had a note beside the door).
You can head back there and take anything in the home at this point.
Once you’ve taken everything you can, grab the box and go to the shore where there’s a boat that you can set it down in and row to the shore with the guy. If you don’t want to use the boat, there’s an area a little further down where you can jump on platforms and floating debris to get to the island.
Don’t sink in the water with the box. It will get lost under the water.
Set it anywhere on the ground near the guy, then sit on the bench to engage in conversation again.
