The Queen Bee in Fae Farm is a bit more on the rare side of all the other critters that you’ll be looking for throughout the game for either the loot that they’re capable of giving you or for a collector’s purpose.

The Queen Bee Guide

Where is the Queen Bee’s location?

Basically anywhere you can find a regular Worker Bee buzzing about is where you can find a Queen Bee–so think flower areas. Meaning you probably won’t find a Queen Bee located out on the beach or near the sea area. It’s always going to be on the upper portion of the town where flowers are more liable to grow.

It can take quite a while to actually find a Queen Bee, however, and I mean several days to a week +. I suppose it really depends on how hard you’re looking for one, because if you miss a day of searching then of course if a Queen Bee is around, you won’t notice.

She can be seen at day, night, or when it’s raining, so environmental elements don’t really matter.

When you come across her, you’ll know. Not only does she have a little majestic crown on her head, but she’s pretty slow at buzzing around, as well as plump.

How easy is a Queen Bee catch?

Very easy for how rare her spawn is. You can swing your net multiple times and she won’t try to fly out of the area in fear.

What is the Queen Bee for?

First off, you don’t want to sell her when you catch her, due to her being somewhat on the elusive side and crucial in building a couple constructs.

Second, you’ll only be able to get a use out of her once you complete Clearing the Whirlpools. Once you get rid of the whirlpools, two constructs will be available to you that benefit bees.

The first crafting station is a Honey Hive, in which you’ll need 1 Queen Bee to craft it in order to get any kind of honey out of the Worker Bees you find. The second crafting station where you’ll need 1 Queen Bee yet again, is the Propagation Hive, which will allow nearby fruit trees to bear saplings, which is really nice because fruit trees are flipping expensive.
