Catch a fish
After Eddy gives you a fishing rod, you can head over to any body of water that you see a fish in to try to reel it in. So whether you want to fish in the ocean, a pond, or the stream, it doesn’t matter, as long as there’s a fish swimming in it.
In order to catch one properly, you’ll want to throw the bobber in front of the fish. Whether in the path it’s going to take or where it’s stopped. If you’ve got the bobber to the fish’s side and try to jiggle it to catch its attention, it won’t notice the bobber. I guess the fish in this game have forward view and not peripheral vision as you might hope.
Once the fish is hooked, reel it in when facing you, and release when the line goes red as it’s facing away.
There’s an art to it, but mainly you don’t want to snap the line and you also don’t want the fish swimming too far out, because you’ll lose it.
Return to Eddy for rewards!
Once you’ve got your fish, speak with Eddy.
