Reach friendship status “Friends” with the person of your choice

This quest is obtained through Frida, who I found at the Docks, but you might have to look for her, as I don’t know if she’s one to leave the inn often.

Reaching “friends” status with one of the locals is pretty easy to do than in other games as the world is really easy to navigate around in and there aren’t that many people who you’ll need to hound in order to reach a specific status with. Basically, you can ignore the shopkeepers as you won’t be able to woo them.

A lot of the locals can typically be found in a set area as well and all you really have to do is talk with them once on a day-to-day basis to get their relationship up with you.

That’s right, you don’t have to spend your money on anything in order to get them to like you. Just talk. Eventually you will be able to give them certain items they might want, but that’s not until you’ve reached a certain point in the game, after completing a specific quest.

By the first Summer, I was able to reach “Friends” status and beyond with several townsfolk.

If you want to know how to see your relationship with everyone, go into your menu and choose Relationships.
