Use the Wave emote near any of your registered animals
This quest is obtained through Earline who can be found at Plains of Plenty at the lower half where you bought your chickoo.
This is kind of an odd thing they put in the game that I don’t find myself using very often, if ever. And the few times I have used it never yielded any effects, but that’s probably because I was standing directly near the animal I was waving at?
Turns out, you’ll need to have the animal in your line of sight and it needs to be facing you in order for the wave to actually work. The animal will then come running over to you.
However, to complete the quest, you can just wave at it without it acknowledging you in any way.
Update: You don’t have to have the animal facing you, but I guess you do have to be close enough to get its attention when you do wave. It’s an odd quest to say the least…
