Down with the Quilboar is an alliance quest within Exile’s Reach after completing Northbound via the game World of Warcraft.
From what I can gather, the quilboar are performing a necromantic ritual on one of the expedition members. Their chief is Geolord Grek’og. He is the one who seeks to drain the life from our friend. Slay Grek’og and save the captive member of the expedition. He may know where the others were taken.
Quest Objective:
Slay Geolord Grek’og.
Down with the Quilboar Guide
- Starts: Austin Huxworth
- Ends: Lindie Springstock
Head through the main opening of the Quilboar lair and continue forward until you can bank to the left.
Up ahead you’ll come across the ominous Geolord Grek’og. After he’s defeated, the gnome Lindie will be free and take off running to your end destination.
Geolord Greg’ok
This fight is a simplistic one, seeing as he’s kind of a boss but not really. He’ll physically attack you a couple times, but also throw in some spell casting, so if you’re ranged you can put distance between the both of you pretty easily.
Possible rare up ahead
Before you bank to the left, up ahead in front of you across the pond you might see a large Ogre Overseer who’s doesn’t blend in very well with the quilboar. It’s a rare that you can kill–if it’s not there, then someone killed it first and you might have to wait a bit for its respawn.
Possible chest up ahead
After you’ve defeated Geolord and the gnome takes off running to the right, you might notice a chest on your minimap on the right side as well, if nobody has grabbed it before you.
Down with the Quilboar Rewards
Some of these rewards will vary depending on what class you’re playing, as well as the level you’re currently at. Thus, I don’t give the exact rewards.
