Try to enter the House
After conversing a bit with Merlin regarding the Ruler and the Forgetting, tell him you’re ready to help out! Before doing so, you’ll need to prove your worth by working some magic of your own.
Approach the door and interact with it. Another chat with Merlin will have you ridding the doorway of the Night Thorns.
Go inside the House
Well, easy to go in now that the door isn’t blocked.
Talk to Merlin to find out what to do next
I’m not sure that Merlin even knows what to do next, since the Night Thorns hinder his memory. Which leads you to your next task…
Remove the Night Thorns inside the House
There are four Night Thorns to dispose of by simply interacting with them. One will drop an orb.
Investigate the glowing Orb
By interacting with the orb, you’ll receive an interesting looking Memory with Mickey and Merlin looking toward the castle…or at least contemplating what to do about the thorns covering it.
After that Merlin will somewhat remember something about the castle and that the four royal tools are missing.
