Redridge Mountains is an alliance zone meant for players level 15-60, founded in Classic World of Warcraft. It’s got one of the best characters you’ll ever meet in-game–John J. Keeshan.
Everything you find below is up to date for patch 8.3.

Note:
There’s a possibility of finding Archaeology dig-sites listed below in this zone, but that doesn’t mean they’ll always be here. It’s just something that’s good to know in case you plan on working with this profession.

Below are the types of treasure chests that I’ve found in Redridge Mountains. You won’t be able to find a chest in every single location they appear in, and they are on a timer if someone happens to take the specific chests in the zone before you.
- Battered Chest
- Sturdy Treasure Chest
[section label=”Herb/Mining”]Herbalism/Mining
There aren’t enough herbs and ore in this zone to make a route worthwhile, and even while questing you’re not going to come across a ton of them. Blizz may have been more interested in the questlines than the farming aspect of this area.

Note:
I’ve not tested the fishing route of this zone yet.

Here’s the map for specified locations.
- Farmed via Druid for instant damage
- Locations timed: 10 minutes
Coordinates: 16,56
You can pretty much stand in one spot here and nuke the gnolls, just know it’s a heavy quest area for the Alliance.
- Linen Cloth – 73
- Wool Cloth – 44
Coordinates: 44,62
Stand on the piece of land coming out of the water and you should be good to go with killing the murlocs.
- Linen Cloth – 90
- Wool Cloth – 35
- Murloc Fin – 41
- Small Barnacled Clam – 30
Coordinates: 30,72
You’ll need to move around the area in order to keep killing the gnolls and having them respawn for you. Not as nice as standing still, but hey, drops are drops.
- Linen Cloth – 70
- Wool Cloth – 45
[section label=”Vendors”]Vendors
Note:
These vendors sell special goods, meaning they’re limited supply. If someone buys one of these first, there’s a timer on when they’ll be back in stock. In no way does the list below show every vendor located in this zone.

[section label=”Goldmaking”]Goldmaking
In this Redridge Mountains goldmaking section, I’ll be listing items I acquired as I leveled throughout the zone. While I don’t focus on the special vendor items you could obtain within the zone, there is a chance for them to fall from open world mob drops.
More specifically, you’re able to buy healing potions and such from vendors, but they’re also mob drops, therefore they’ll be in the goldmaking listing below. (On another note, this goldmaking section was created a while back, so there are vendor-sold equipment mentioned below.)
