The Royal Tools Guide
Acquire the Royal Tools in the Village
Find the Watering Can in the Plaza
Exit your house and go to the right side of it behind some barrels. There you’ll find the Watering Can.
Find the Shovel in the Plaza
Go across the plaza to where a boarded up building is and you’ll find the Shovel.
Find the Royal Pickaxe and pull it from the Stone
Turn to the right, where the front of the building faces, and in the distance you’ll see a large cluster of stones as well as the Pickaxe stuck in them.
Talk to Merlin
The mission says to return to Merlin, and you can, but if you do you’ll initiate the mission The Dream Castle. Once you’ve followed him and heard about that one, speak with him again to continue with this mission and he’ll tell you about Goofy and his love for fishing.
Find the Fishing Rod in the Meadow
The Fishing Rod is a bit different.
After pulling the Pickaxe from the stone, you’ve opened the way down the steps of the Plaza. Take them down and break the rocks in your way. Make a right and directly across from the pond you should see a Fishing Rod, except it’s broken.
Take the broken rod to the small house beside the walkway from the Plaza. Goofy’s inside.
Speak with him and give him the broken fishing rod so he can give you the actual Fishing Rod.
