Prison is a chapter within the first part of the game Wolfenstein: The Old Blood.

Crouch down and look at the opening in the wall for the Letter Collectible (1/1) that you can reach in for.

Speak with Wesley.

Find a way out

Turn around and try climbing the pipe. It’ll end up breaking, but hey, you’ll get a new weapon and all-around useful tool to use the rest of the game!

Now approach the rocky wall and use the pipe to climb it. Basically, you’ll always keep one button held down for a grip and use the other one to scale higher, and keep switching buttons as needed. It might take some getting used to, but I got some serious Tomb Raider gameplay vibes from it.

Once you’re up and over the ledge, you might want to get out of sight.

You’re going to see these big mechanical dudes walking back and forth with wires attaching them to upper rigs. Poor explanation, I know. But there are stations that you can deactivate that will shut the soldiers down. Which is what you can do in this section right here.

Once the mech soldier is shut down, run over to him and do a take down.

While you can take the guns to destroy other mech soldiers (primarily the area by their head seems to be the most vulnerable?), don’t bother trying to take the weapons through the doors, because you drop them when you pry the doors open.

So deactivate the door, pry open the door, and head inside, but make sure to quickly hide by the deactivation device.

There are two mech soldiers in this area.

Deactivate the one when he’s closest to you to the right so you can take him down and get the gun to destroy the other one while staying behind cover. After exploding it’ll provide you with armor.

Deactivate the door and go through.

Take the map on the board and crouch your way to the dogs, taking both out quietly.

Be careful up ahead, as there are four mech soldiers in the area, two are going to be able to see you right off the bat, as one patrols back and forth, and the other one patrols in a kind of C formation nearby. That’s the one you’ll want to power down and take out first to obtain the gun and fire the rest down.

After you get through the final door, you’ll get the Characters Collectible (1/4).

Jump on the pipes on the left and drop down to the steps and make your way to the rugged wall that you can climb. Crawl through the vent and take a left for a Gold Collectible (1/8).

Prison Guide

Turn around where there are two patrolling mech soldiers and you’ll see a large box at the bottom. There’s a gun inside it that you can use to gun them down–or you can run to the left side and power them down and take them out that way if you want.

Open the door to the other side.

If you sneak into the next section and hide behind the cart, you’ll see a Gold Collectible (2/8) you can pick up against the wall.

While remaining crouched, push the cart forward. Don’t worry when you come across the dog and hear the soldier. They shouldn’t attack you when you release the cart, because you’ll be crouched. Take out the dog, then head into the cubby hole on the right side and walk out on the other side of the gate where you can deactivate the door.

In this area, there’s a deactivated soldier that you’ll want to destroy, because behind the elevator is a power supply you’ll need to activate that will otherwise turn the soldier on.

Once the power is on, get on the elevator and hit the button.

I recommend hiding behind the box to avoid the mech soldier first, but once he passes to the right, go straight and to the left. If you look, there’s a rugged wall you can climb, and at the top you can find a Gold Collectible (3/8).

If you look down toward the elevator, there’s a vent in the wall that you can crawl into. Go in there and go out when both soldiers walk away at the same time to go into the next vent.

Leave again when the soldier walks away, power down the door, and go through.

You automatically get Cellblocks Concept Art Collectible.

Grab the map on the wall. Head into the small room and climb the wall. After crawling through the vent, drop down when the nearest dog walks away and sneak to the right. When it walks away again, go to the doggy entrance and make a left to take out the sleeping dog, then go down the shaft.

Once down here, if you walk to the upper right corner of the map, you’ll find Gold Collectible (4/8).

Now go to the southern part of the map where you’ll drop down in an area and break through a wall with your pipe, then climb up a wall. Moving forward, you’ll find another wall to climb. Kill the dog. Go into the vent and kill the dog in front of you and head into the small opening up ahead.

Grab the Gold Collectible (5/8) within.

Go out and into the next smaller section where you’ll come out in an area with a mech soldier. Wait until he walks away to deactivate and take him out. At the proper area is a vent overhead you can interact with and climb into–this is also the area you’ll obtain the Kennels Concept Art Collectible.

Exit out and drop into a cell.

Leave the room and speak with the guy hanging out in the hallway for a Characters Collectible (2/4).

Go to the very end where you can prop the gate up with the pipe. Now do a running slide under it. Take the map on the right wall. Enter the bloodstained room with the open door and open the hatch in the floor to drop down to the bed below. And it’s on this bed that you can sleep on to enter your nightmare.

Leave this room and open the door to the right of the B gate. A soldier will attack you–attack him back. Once he’s down (and after he’s given the useful information of Characters Collectible (3/4)), turn and look up to see a duct you can climb up into.

Drop down and hide behind the box for the massive mechanical dog to pass by. Run to the left side where you can lift a door with your pipe, then run and slide through.

At the top, the mechanical dog will jump and attack you.

You’ll have to run to the other side to another upper vent to open and climb up into.

Turn around for a Gold Collectible (6/8).

Now turn back around and drop down to kill the commander in a stealthy way. To the right will be a patrol that you can wait on to take out as well, or you can grab the gun and start shooting. Just know there’s another commander that’ll call for backup.

Take the map on the wall, and if you did stealth-kill the guy, go into the water, and swim to the other side, past the boat, and go up the steps. Make a sharp left and head up the steps to where two boxes are. Break them open and go into the shaft where you’ll find Gold Collectible (7/8).

Make your way up to the charging station, since you can’t use the boat until you activate the upper part. You should pass a bench with a Gold Collectible (8/8) on/near it.

Coming up here will allow you to also kill the other commander.

Enter the Wolfenstein Keep

Once you’ve interacted with the switch on the console, take out all the enemies that show up.

Get in the boat and activate the switch to get Prison Docks Concept Art Collectible. As you move forward, shoot enemies. You’ll get the Characters Collectible (4/4).

When the boat stops, step off, then pull the lever to exit this part of the chapter.
