The Daughters of Artemis is a mission in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey within the zone of Phokis.
The Daughters of Artemis Guide
You can find the questgiver beside a fast travel point, and when you speak to her, you can choose any option you want, as it doesn’t matter. In the end, you’ll still get the quest to defeat the local OP boar.
Find and hunt the Kalydonian boar
If you’ll notice on the map above a question mark that’s glowing to the west, that’s the location of the boar.
How to kill the Kalydonian Boar
While ability choices may come into play here, if you haven’t specced more into the Hunter or Warrior side of things, you might want to wait for this fight. Assassin won’t do you much good, because there’s no sneaking and assassinating in this fight. In fact, you’re going to want to be on your guard.
When the smaller boars spawn make sure to take them out before focusing on the Kalydonian Boar.
Best weaponry:
For the weapon choices, go with more Warrior-based attacks and if you can, engrave them to help do damage against animals. You could also try longer weapons, instead of closer-up ones. Slow-moving weapons aren’t terribly great, because you’ll want to be a bit faster in this fight.
Best abilities:
- Second Wind in order to heal yourself when you suffer too much damage.
- Gear Master has a chance of staggering the enemy on the third one.
- Flaming Attacks, because lighting things on fire is both fun and a useful damage-over-time.
- Charged Heavy Attack–it’s not something you have to assign to a button.
- Ring of Chaos might help with the smaller boars that charge you.
- Rain of Destruction for when the big boar or smaller boars are more grouped together.
See what I mean with how the Warrior tree is good for this fight?
