The Builder Test in My Time at Portia
The Builder Test is a mission in My Time at Portia. You need to craft a Simple Axe and Pickaxe, as well as a Stone Furnace for Presley.
The Builder Test
The first builder test
Head back to your Workshop and interact with your Worktable. You’ll need to build a Simple Axe and a Pickaxe from here.
Simple Axe:
- Wood – 5
- Stone – 8
Pickaxe:
- Wood – 8
- Stone – 5
Total:
- Wood – 13
- Stone – 13
Wood and stone can be gathered from piles on the ground outside town.
Don’t forget you’ll also need 36 Wood in order to take care of the boards in your house. So essentially, you’ll want a total of 49 Wood. Save fixing your house until the end of the day, however, or you’ll lose time out of your day.
Once you’ve crafted your tools, speak with Presley again for the second portion of the test.
The second builder test
This time when you head home, check out your Assembly Station, as that’s where we’ll be making a Stone Furnace.
Mats:
- Wood – 10
- Stone – 10
Crafted:
- Stone Stool – 1
Total:
- Wood – 10
- Stone – 10
- Stone Stool – 1
You should be good to go at this point, because you now have both of the tools on your hand. Just make sure you chop the small bushes down or the small trees. Same goes for if you’re going to be mining rocks. Stick to the smaller rocks and rubble.
Once you’ve acquired enough stone, use your worktable to make the Stone Stool.
Make sure the items you need to craft the Stone Furnace are on your actionbar, because you’ll be needing to hold the material to place it down on the appropriate spot. Once compiled together, you’ve got a Stone Furnace.
Place it down on your home’s land.
Head back to Presley and turn the quest in.
