Project: Mirror, almost as many levels as Candy Crush…but not quite.
I’ve already played the game Mirror and I enjoyed it a lot. I knew this game wasn’t going to be in the same ballpark, but I wanted to play it nevertheless. I won’t say it’s not a good game, but…
Sometimes…you just have to talk yourself out of pressing the buy button.

Explanation to Negative Feedback
Item icons look too similar
There are items that you can buy in the shop and they’ll show as weapons on the right side of the screen. But they all look too closely related so it’s hard to remember which one does what. They didn’t…make them stand out from one another enough.
Soundtrack on repeat
There’s only so long that I can listen to one or two songs on repeat before it starts to be a grind just to get through the game so I don’t have to hear it anymore. I mean, you can always mute it, but what’s the point of having the soundtrack if people are just going to not want to listen to it over and over again.
So many levels
I’m used to these kinds of games having maybe ten or fifteen levels to them in order for you to gain access to the goodies. But this game? Oh no, there are 100 levels and they just become…tiresome and un-fun after a while.
Explanation to Positive Feedback
Hot ladies for your viewing pleasure
The artwork is certainly on point and it doesn’t disappoint–the only thing is you’ll be able to view them every three levels. Which isn’t bad, you’ll still have a lot of images to peruse.
Items cheap to buy
If you’re becoming annoyed with all the levels (like I was), the items you buy from the shop are pretty cheap considering all the money you can get in-game. Use them to your advantage.

Project: Mirror Review
TL;DR Review
This game drags. Holy crap.
I was into it for the first 25 levels, then I started to become a little burnt out. Around the 50th level, I was like, ok, this game is probably almost over at this point so I can persevere. By the 60th level I was like, jesuschristwhenwillitend? At the 75th level, I had to stop playing and take a break from it. By that point I was mindlessly clicking without thinking.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a pretty good game and the images you obtain are well worth it.
But when it’s just level after level it starts to lose its fun factor. Besides, you have to leave the level and go into the gallery in order to see the image you unlocked, instead of the game just having the image appear in front of you once the level is done.
So you have to work harder just to see the ladies.
The 3-star factor doesn’t really matter. You can get 1-star or more and the game will continue. Plus, you won’t lose out on an achievement as technically you completed the level. With 3 stars you’re just proving to yourself you’re a winner.
Also, something interesting as I was playing–some of the music really reminded me of a song I used to listen to a lot and it took me a while to figure out. I don’t know if anyone else can say the same, but there’s a melody that sounds almost like one of Billy Joel’s songs. I can’t remember which one exactly, but man…nostalgia.
