This guide is a work in progress.
Where to find Old Parts?
Abandoned Ruins
During the mission Bridge to Amber Island, you’ll need Old Parts in order to create a Grinder.
Since it’s the beginning of the game, there’s only one place you’ll be able to acquire them, and that’s the Abandoned Ruins. It’s located near the upward ramp to the church. There’s a sign that points to it, and it’ll cost 80 Gols on first entry.
If you use your scanner and find yellow orbs, they may lead you to a Parts Box, which may have some Old Parts inside. The boxes are the only way you’re going to obtain them within the ruins, as they aren’t found as you go about mining for ore in general.
Until you upgrade the scanner, you’ll just have to go from yellow orb to yellow orb to find which one is a Parts Box.
