Writing falls flat
You know, I hate to say it, knowing that this is a visual novel and the writing makes up darn near the entirety of the game, but I think it’s safe to say the art carries most of the weight. The writing isn’t terrible, but this is a Russian game, and thus there are mistakes in the writing itself, and then there are words that anyone not from Russia might not understand, but that’s not the biggest flaw.
The biggest flaw has to be the accumulation of all the rhetorical devices used.
There are so many similes, and so many hyperboles, and let’s not forget the onomatopoeias–wham, smack, slap! Like…yeah, sometimes they’d liven up the sentences, but they’re in almost every other line and no matter how funny some of them are, you can’t hold that kind of humor consistently when it’s being used over and over again like a bidet at a taco bell hosted party.
I did it.
I did the thing.
Now imagine that happening over and over again, and you’ve got some unique, and exhausting, reading material.
Voiced lines are wrong
This threw me off so much when playing the game, because I also read the lines and commentate (shout-out to my Patreon, if you want to watch those videos), and either they’d get the lines wrong, or they’d stop partial-way through the paragraph.
Which I’m kind of used to that happening, because I’ve played a lot of partially voiced visual novels that don’t read the full lines. But there are times when a paragraph isn’t spoken at all, and when you progress to the next lines, they do voice the previous lines.
So nothing is in order, and I’m so confused on the script the VAs received, and the writing that we’re given.
Why is it all so jumbled and flawed?

Jamming soundtrack
I know, I know, the Steam store states there was some AI used in the making of the soundtrack, but every time it came into play while I was going through certain scenes, it kind of really amped me up. It’s not sweet melodic music or anything like that, it’s actual music that makes you bounce.
Almost like a jaunty battle cry for whatever scene you’re in.
I can’t say if the soundtrack always fits in with where you’re at in the game, because I didn’t listen to it too closely, but I was silently rocking out for the times I did pay attention.
A lot of scenes
This game has a lot of branching paths to it, and I’m all for that.
It all leads to one final outcome, but I think there are three different paths you can take to make your way to the grand finale, and that’s not counting the other branching paths that offer a different scene or two.
And these scenes I’m talking about aren’t just still images, either. They are animated.
Plus you can hide the text, which is even better.
