Crossed Wands: Round 2 in Hogwarts Legacy
Crossed Wands: Round 2 is a quest within the game Hogwarts Legacy. It’s your second dueling match where you’ll face off against three students with a partner of your choosing, or solo.

Crossed Wands: Round 2
- Crossed Wands is located in The Clock Tower.
This is a side quest that you’ll have to do in order to complete Professor Hecat’s Assignment 1. It’s kind of forced on you if you try to take that quest on first.
When you speak with Lucan Brattleby, he’ll ask if you’re going to want to duel with a partner or solo. You can choose to have either Sebastian or Natsai on your side if you don’t really trust yourself with hurling magic on your own.
If you feel like you’ve got a handle on magical combat though, or you want extra practice for when you’re out in the open world on your own, you can choose to duel on your own.
Defeat your opponents
This fight is a bit tougher, especially if you’re on your own.
It focuses on you using Accio when an opponent has a purple barrier around them, in order to cancel it out. They can also still have the yellow barrier, which is for Levioso.
Not only that, but if you’re using the lock-on feature, you might be locked onto an opponent behind another person. No matter how many attacks you do and how many counter-attacks you achieve, you won’t be able to hit that person if someone else is standing in front of them with the purple barrier.
So this duel kind of teaches you to not only handle who’s nearest to you, but also to move around so your focus target isn’t blocked by someone else.
Or, you know, to just cancel your focus target.
