Finding the Lost Expedition is an alliance quest within Exile’s Reach after completing Emergency First Aid via the game World of Warcraft.
I saw a fire near some wreckage up ahead. We should investigate it to see if there are more survivors. You’re the greenest of the recruits, so you’re coming with me. The others will search the island for clues. Let’s move.
Quest Objective:
Search the nearby camp for expedition survivors.
Finding the Lost Expedition Guide
- Starts: Captain Garrick
- Ends: Alaria
After the Captain joins your party of one, continue straight up the path, following the lit torches along the road to guide you. Once you reach the upper portion of flat ground and you’re close enough to the survivors on the right, the Captain will run over to them, leaving you to walk the short distance alone.

Does Captain Garrick help you kill enemies?
You’d think so, considering she’s wielding that sword, right?
Unfortunately, no. She’s merely along to keep you company and have you escort her safely to the other survivors.
