Fear to Tread is a horde quest in The Maw per the Shadowlands expansion of World of Warcraft.
It appears we’ve escaped our enemies’ notice for the moment. We should take the opportunity to scout the nearby area for signs of our allies. We will draw less attention alone. The Ebon Blade will hold back, awaiting my signal. Come, let us see what awaits us in this hellscape.
Quest objective:
Scout Calcis for any signs of your allies.
Fear to Tread Guide
- Starts: Highlord Darion Mograine
- Ends: Lady Jaina Proudmoore (22.1,33)
You’ll need to find three clues, and then you’ll find Jaina.
Just around the right corner is a frozen puddle with icicle spiked jutting up through some bodies. This is the first clue.
The second clue is to the north, down the path and to the right. There’s a sheep wandering around, though it’s actually a Soul Eater in a polymorph spell.
The third clue is the large burning corpse up ahead. Don’t worry about the elemental that’s cruising close by. It’s neutral and won’t attack unless you pick a fight.
Up ahead is Jaina.
