Defeat the thorns with Alaric tomorrow
This quest will initiate the moment you wake up the next day with a cutscene.
He basically gives you a staff that you can use in order to attack monsters as well as clear vines out from areas, opening up new places and new people to meet.
Return to Alaric for rewards!
Now, you didn’t actually clear any vines yet, so don’t go thinking you did. All you got to do was watch a cutscene to get a gist of what you’re able to do with the staff. When you leave the cutscene, it’ll be late.
Make your way to Alaric who’s probably inside his house at this point.
Speaking with him also completes Chapter 2.
