Retrieve turnip seeds from your shed

You technically have two sheds, but the one you’ll be using here is to the left of the stairs leading down from your home. Interact with it and you’ll see your inventory on the left side and your shed’s stock on the right side.

Grab the bag on the right that has a turnip image on them and place them into your inventory.

Keep in mind you only need 3 for your quest.

Craft and place Basic Soil Bed

In order to actually plant seeds on your farm, you’ll first need to place down Basic Soil Beds. Crafting one of these consists of the following materials:

• 1 Silt
• 1 Sand
• 1 Beech Log

If you’re going to plant a larger amount of seeds than the ones you need for the quest, I suggest crafting 3×3 soil beds because you’re going to be able to water them a lot better once you upgrade your watering can at a later time. Otherwise, just place the three that you need.

Plant turnip seeds

Back out of the construction menu and interact with the soil bed in order for the turnip seed package to show up. Place them down accordingly.

Technically you’re done now, but…you can always just water them at this point.
