Meant for a specific audience
This game is definitely not for everyone in regards to the sensitive themes it portrays. It has a M/s relationship to the characters, though I think Kuromo can come on a bit too strong with what she says, at least at one point in the game.
I’m not so sure of the yandere portion of the game, because there was never any sweet-turned-sour moment, so don’t get too fooled on the title.
Pixelated edges
I don’t actually mind the pixelated backgrounds, and it’s not so bad that she’s pixel-based, but it looks forced. Like it’s not supposed to be pixel art, they just transitioned it to it.
Why not keep it as soft-shaded artwork? No idea.
It might’ve looked a bit better, because now she has pixelated edges, making it look like a bad green screen edit.
Explanation to Positive Feedback
Pixelated background art
It’s true I’m not fond of the pixel art for the girl, but I do actually like the pixelated background scenes. I mean, I love pixel art, but I’ll be the first to say I don’t think the original art was pixels, they merely transitioned the original art that way.
Short game
I think it’s a good thing that the game is short, given its themes. You don’t really want to draw out this kind of thing because it can start to get uncomfortable up to a certain point, if drawn out past its prime.
