Beating Them Back! in World of Warcraft
Beating Them Back! is a quest within Elwynn Forest via the game World of Warcraft. You’ll need to kill six Blackrock Worgs.
So you’re the new recruit from Stormwind, eh? I’m Marshal McBride, commander of this garrison. Glad to have you on board…

You’ve arrived just in time. The Blackrock orcs have managed to sneak into Northshire through a break in the mountain. My soldiers are doing the best that they can to push them back, but I fear they will be overwhelmed soon.
Head northwest into the forest and kill the attacking Blackrock worgs! Help my soldiers!

This quest is the first one you’ll get when you create a new Human on the character creation screen, and choose to start out in Northshire Valley.
First, make sure your auto loot is on, unless you prefer choosing which loot to take. A beginner’s bags are pitiful for holding things, after all.
You’ll be attacking the worgs on the left side of the building. Some of them will be attacking the guards. Their health is slightly less than the worgs that currently aren’t in battle, so if you want a slight advantage in killing them quicker, go for them.
The guards really don’t do much to help you out here.
Return to McBride on quest completion.
Rare nearby (31,18)
You might be able to find a rare here, Gug Fatcandle. He’ll be located in the back left, standing outside where it looks like there’s a blocked off mine entrance.
