Azshara is a horde zone meant for players level 10-60, founded in Classic World of Warcraft. It’s not the prettiest area to go through. There’s a lot to be desired as far as colors and fascinating areas. Guess we can blame the Goblins for the mess they’ve made.
How did I just notice the zone is a sideways horde symbol?

Farming Routes Completed!
This zone has a total of 9 routes I created for a variety of farmers out there. It doesn’t matter if you’re a low level looking for treasures and rares as you quest, or finally got a flying mount and need to find the best route to take for the maximum amount of leather, ore, and herbs.

Archaeology Finds
There’s a possibility of finding Archaeology dig-sites listed below in this zone, but that doesn’t mean they’ll always be here. It’s just something that’s good to know in case you plan on working with this profession.

Below are the types of treasure chests that I’ve found in Azshara. You won’t be able to find a chest in every single location they appear in, and they are on a timer if someone happens to take the specific chests in the zone before you.

Herb/Mining Combo
Since there was no decent route for herbalism as a standalone gatherable, and there are still herbs in the area, I’ve combined both mining and herbalism into one route. This is specifically if you have both professions on your character though.

No fishing rods were used.

Mining
This is not a ground-mount friendly route due to all the cliffs and such. There’s also a small phased zone you may enter, where you could find a Copper Ore node, but not be able to mine it. Just move on if that’s the case.

Skinning
There are more chimera available near the route, going about in a circle, but the smaller routes allows for respawns at a decent rate as you go around killing, and I didn’t see a need to add a longer route, due to this.

Rares
Links regarding the types of beasts you can tame will take you to the Petopia page regarding their species. Petopia gives you a whole lot of information revolving around hunter pets, so if you’re a hunter, go check the site out.

Reagents
Cloth
There’s only one cave you actually go into here, so that’s a plus. I didn’t time it, and I want to say the respawn wouldn’t be that great anyway, though I didn’t stick around. You definitely get a lot of Small Barnacled Clams, if you want a chance at a Small Lustrous Pearl or need meat for cooking.

Meat
This route certainly isn’t the best to grab a ton of meat. It’s kind on the “meh” side of things. Although certain locations give you a lot of Small Barnacled Clam.
With the Hippogryphs, kill the Static-Charged and Thunderhead ones, as they’ll actually drop meat. Also, despite the Makrinni being humanoids, they’ll also drop the clams, along with the turtles. Just don’t bother with the seals, as far as looting meat goes. (They’re definitely good for skinning.)

Goldmaking
In this Azshara goldmaking section, I’ll be listing items I acquired as I leveled throughout the zone. While I don’t focus on the special vendor items you could obtain within the zone, there is a chance for them to fall from open world mob drops.
More specifically, you’re able to buy healing potions and such from vendors, but they’re also mob drops, therefore they’ll be in the goldmaking listing below.
