Angels Academy (Demo) (NSFW) ★★☆☆☆
Angels Academy, there’s nothing angelic about Julia.
Angels Academy and every other video linked to it can be seen on our Patreon, and if you’re wanting to know what other games we’ve played and have posts for, here’s our list of current games.

Explanation to Negative Feedback
No sound
It’s really creepy and ominous going through a game that doesn’t have any kind of sound at all. It’s also really weird that not even a demo would have sound to it.
There’s pure silence the entire time.
Spelling is bad
I mean…it’s pretty bad. I was stumbling over words and making jokes of it all but, there needs to be an editor going through it with a fine-toothed comb. The spelling problems persist in every scene.
You’re allowed to get away with a few misspellings, but this one has more than likely over 100 words that are spelled wrong, and it’s just a demo.
Stat system
This annoyed me more than the spelling did, and I used to be a writer and go through a lot of books. That’s saying something.
I’ve no idea how the stat system works.
I realize that there are some scenes where you’re given a choice, depending on if you have a high enough number for those stats or not. I didn’t have a high enough stat in strength, so I had to choose the option with no stats to it. As the scene progressed, it was using my stat, until I didn’t have anymore of it.
Why are you using a choice that I didn’t choose, because I didn’t have a high enough stat for it in the first place?
It’s dumb to do that. There shouldn’t have been a choice to begin with in that case, if you’re going to make me go through with it anyway.
And I’ve got no idea how you’re even supposed to accumulate the stats, so there’s that.
The stat system is just clunky.
UI needs work
I had trouble telling who was speaking, because the person’s name is on the right side of the dialogue box rather than the left. I read going from left to right. So to have to look on the right, then go back to the left, and read to the right is kind of silly.
Also, the menu section at the bottom can barely be seen. The font color doesn’t stand out at all.
You basically forget it’s there.
Explanation to Positive Feedback
Nice artwork
It’s really cute!
The characters are all very different looking and the artwork is all hand-drawn–I’m going to say this includes the backgrounds as well. It’s kind of a refreshing look on a visual novel when most of them rely so heavily on AI these days.
