How do you use the Andros Guide?
Welcome to the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey guide and walkthrough for Andros. This is not a straight-forward path to just one quest, but adds in a lot of the side missions as well as treasures I’ve found and obtained along the way.
- There will be main questlines, as well as side quests, and treasures.
- Most of the important items and NPCs are color-coordinated so they stand out.
- I played this game first via Hard Mode, but switched to Easy, because it seems the XP is the same no matter the difficulty.
What won’t you find in the Andros Guide?
- Achievements.
- Abilities I’ve chosen–this is all on you, baby.
- Every single quest (some of them I skip because I automatically complete them before I get them).
- Screenshots of every single thing. C’mon now, look around.
- Locations of Orichalcum.
General tips for playing Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
- Use Ikaros constantly to scout areas out and find treasures, especially before entering caves.
- Whistle to get someone’s attention, but don’t abuse it.
- Hide bodies in shrubbery.
- Create fire arrows by dropping your torch on the ground, then dipping your arrow in the flame.
- Phobos runs faster than you, but you climb better than a horse.
- Be on the lookout for Orichalcum, as it’s used to buy other interesting things.
Sunken Temple of Aphrodite
If you’re continuing from Phokis to continue Memories Awoken, then on your way to Andros, you’ll find a Sunken Temple.
So there is a Treasure, obviously from the screenshot, but there’s also a few different sharks circling the area. Take care of them as you see fit and grab your treasury.
Synchronization
As you make your way to Andros, you’ll notice there’s a synchronization point close to the sea. You’ll be wanting to stop by Kedris’s Vista and survey the land.
This will help when you want to fast travel here in the future.
Memories Awoken (ongoing)
When you’re close enough to the location in question, send Ikaros out in order to pinpoint exactly where you need to be.
There are some big doors to get through.
You’ll be traveling a bit of a distance once you’re inside, but there will be a platform with a several pillars. Approach the one you need to put your spear into in order to upgrade it.
You’re back in the real world after a cutscene!
Look around at everything, if you want. If you’ve played the other Assassin’s Creed games, there may be throwbacks that you understand, but I don’t. As of writing this, this is the main Assassin’s Creed I’ve ever played.
If you don’t care to look around, just turn back to the Animus and dive back into Kassandra.
Leave the cave and head into a conversation with Deimos. Be mindful of your choices here, as they can matter for the future of things.
Beach Encampment
It’s all the way on the other side of the island, and has a Treasure as well as three different people to free from cages.
Just be careful of all the wildlife you’ll no doubt come across.
The Lightning Bringer
We’re not doing this quest, due to being so under-leveled, but just know that this is the location to come back to in the future.
Memories Awoken (end)
Fast travel to the Adrestia and speak with Herodotos.
We’ll be going to Euboea next.
