A Band of Dead Men is a timed mission within the game Assassin’s Creed Odyssey found in Lokris.
A Band of Dead Men Guide
You’ll find this guy on the western side of Alponos, and he’ll request you kill a bunch of bandits to the south. This is one of those hourglass missions, I believe, so it might be random when the mission pops up, and once you have it, you do have a set amount of time to get it done.
The bandits are easy enough to kill, and once the job’s done, you can return to him.
