‘Suspicious’ man misspelled

Accidentally

When you meet up with the different characters, one of them is a suspicious man, seeing as we don’t know his real name. Unfortunately for him, for some reason, the devs never caught the fact that ‘suspicious’ is spelled wrong and adds an extra C after the second S.

I mean, I don’t know how this could happen if they play-tested this.

The title comes up a lot, and every single time it’s spelled wrong. It makes you dread what other spelling problems are going to come up. Other than that, it’s not that bad of a visual novel.

Coding shown in text

Accidentally

I know. I just stated it’s not a bad visual novel other than that spelling problem, but this is another hiccup that made its way through to certain sections, but not a ton, and that’s the fact there’s the coding of </span> that occurs at the end of some sentences.

It’s not a lot of places, but they are in specific areas of the game.

Again, something that could’ve definitely been caught had someone gone through it, unless they messed with the coding afterwards before releasing the demo for the public.

Gameplay loop

You’re going to die a lot in this game, and that’s okay. You’re not going to be able to stop those circumstances, but when you die, it’s kind of like Groundhog Day in the way that you’re going to end up back at the start and have to do things a different way that may chance the course of events.

With that being said, this game could be seen as something like Slay the Princess, only perhaps no with so many deaths.

It limits you to a certain amount before the end sequence, which makes sense in how the game goes about things.

Maybe the only unfortunate thing with the gameplay loop is the fact that you might understand what’s going on a little better than leaving it up to a mystery ending.
