Grab the quest on the Isle of Thisvi, where he stands on a ship.
What if you can’t find anyone to talk to?
There is a trigger for him to show up, and I believe you need to get past the ship fleet heading into Megaris. Otherwise, when you go to the island, he’s not going to be there.
What choice should you make?
- Show me the drachmae.
- I’ll help you.
Honestly, I don’t know if it truly matters which you choose. I chose the first option, but I don’t know if I ever actually got paid, or when it was that I was paid if it did happen. It certainly wasn’t at the end of the mission, so perhaps somewhere in between?
Once you take the quest, head southeast to Pirate Island.
The brother in question is in a cage, so open it up, then pick him up to carry him up on the cliffside where there’s a scene.
Choices don’t matter when it comes to whether he’s going to survive or not.
After the cutscene, go back to your ship and speak with the surviving brother.
What choice should you make?
- He survived. (2250 XP; he won’t join you)
- He didn’t make it.
If you want him to become a crew member of your ship, then you’re going to need to tell him the truth. Otherwise, he’ll call you out on being a liar and not join you at all.
