Recommendations are tiring
I’ve come to hate it when someone can’t find a book and they need help searching for the right one. Especially if you have a lot of books to go through. Sometimes the info they give us about what book want is too vague or too much.
Like if someone wanted something with animals, a kids book, and under 200 words. It’s like, do they want all three, two combo, or just one of the above?
Half the time I get one of their requests right and they don’t like it.
Recommending just sucks when you’re forced to do it over and over again.

Memorable book titles
I don’t think I was actually expecting this game to have actual book titles that I’ve either heard of or read. Most of the time when you read book titles in a game they’re goofy or nonsensical and stick to the theme of the game.
In Tiny Book Shop, you’ve got several categories of books to sell: Fact, Travel, Drama, Crime, Classic, Kids, and Fantasy.
A lot of books I didn’t know, given their category, but a lot of books I did recognize, especially in Fantasy and Crime, which is great because you might see a book you haven’t read yet and want to.
With that being said, every book does come with a description of what it’s about, but they’re randomized whenever you fill the shelf.
Book shop decorations
You might not be able to see every decoration you’ve attained at once, but you do get a variety to choose from, which is nice, because nobody wants to travel around with a bookshop with only books. The decor speaks volumes as much as the decor does.
You’ll want to choose the decor based on what perks they give.
Well, you don’t have to, but it helps in certain situations.
But yeah, most of all decorations have some kind of perk to them, be it an increase in customers, an increase in specific book genre sales, or more recommendations in a day.
The decor have their own categories, and some of them will cost you money to have them out on display, making it cost more to visit places on the map.
Journal has everything you need
There are four tabs in the journal: Stamps, Characters, Equipped Items (and their effects), and the Calendar.
In the Stamps tab, you can view every place in town that’s open to you, and every place has a certain number of stamps you can obtain at them by finishing events and such. When you’ve acquired all stamps in an area, it’ll be checked off.
The Character’s tab shows information about everyone you’ve met so far, including their pronouns, where they were last seen, birthday, favorite genres, and memories that are either completed or still need to be.
The Items tab shows what you have equipped on your shop, as well as all of the effects that they generate and what book genres are being boosted.
Finally, your own Calendar can show you what events are happening on what day, as well as show your earnings and items you’ve bought on previous days.
