Explanation to Negative Feedback

A lot on the title screen

We’ve got seven things to choose from on the left side of the title screen as far as what we want to do, and then an eighth option down at the bottom that can’t even be read it’s shoved so far down, and apparently that’s your ticket to exiting out of the game.

I mean, this is upon starting the game for the first time–I can already continue as well as load game.

I also understand wanting people to leave feedback and wishlist, but again, it just adds so much clutter onto the left side of the screen it’s almost overwhelming.

Lack of keyboard and mouse icons

I believe this game is meant primarily to be played with a controller–that’s what the keybind icons for which buttons to press suggest–but you can also do things with a mouse at least, but the keybinds aren’t there. And if they are, the icons switch from keyboard to controller too quickly.

It definitely moves around a lot smoother on controller, so it’s a bit annoying that the keyboard and mouse can be tried despite it being so janky.

Character vibrates in hallway

I don’t know what we were so excited about or maybe it was the coffee we drank, but man were we buzzing as soon as we entered the hallway. My brain was rattling from how much we were vibrating, and it didn’t stop until we entered another room.

Lag after picking up notes

There are some notes in your room that are sitting on a desk. When I picked one of them up, the entire game went into lag mode. It was as if everything was moving at 10fps and man did that kill my brain to witness.

Luckily I’d completed the major tasks at that point and could end the game, but oof.

Tasks can be confusing

For the most part, they’re pretty clear on what needs to be done and you can find what you need fairly easily, but there was one where you had to have a high score on a fishing game I think and I had absolutely no idea where to look for that one.

I did watch Superman on the tv during my search though, so there’s that.

We look away from computer to type

Yeah, finishing up our writing was a bit janky. I actually only wrote a line before the objective was finished, and that line wasn’t even a complete sentence. It turns out in order to actually write everything on the computer you have to look all around your room.

Maybe we hate what we write and don’t want to look at it?

But props to us for being able to write backwards while not facing the keyboard.

Explanation to Positive Feedback

Hold keybind to see tasks

I really like how you hold a keybind in order to look at the tasks you need to complete, and then they disappear when you release the button. It saves a lot of room on the screen when you don’t have the objectives there for you to see at all times.
