The Room Chapter 1 is the first part of a walkthrough for the game The Room, also known as the tutorial portion.

I actually won’t go into a lot of detail in this part, as the game walks you through it on its own. If you can’t figure out where things are when it blatantly tells you where they are then…you might need more help than this walkthrough can give you.
However, for the things you have to find, I’m here!
Also, I’m labeling this big blocky thing we’re dealing with a “box,” all right?
So after you check out the note that says, “Feed me and I shall survive, Give me drink and I shall die,” zoom out and rotate the camera until you see the fire icon on the box’s foot. Press it.
Take the key.
On the same side as the fire symbol, there’s a notch in the box you can slide over for a key slot. Rotate the key to the other symbol (it only has two). Insert and turn it, then take the metal plate.
Rotate the camera around until you see the Talisman plaque. Use the metal plate on the screw to reveal a lens.
Rotate the camera until you see the gold circle. Above it is a notch you can slide over for a keyhole. Rotate the key again and insert it.
Look through the lens. Rotate the sliders so they’re even with the center one, as you can’t move it. The door unlocks. Open it, and you’re done with the tutorial!
