Southern Barrens is a contested zone meant for players level 25-60, founded in Classic World of Warcraft. Trust me, it’s not as bad as Northern Barrens. At least, not trade chat.

After the first rotation on the route, the herbs weren’t really spawning. After the second swing of the route, the herbs were on a better respawn timer. It’s possible on the first time I didn’t grab enough herbs for the respawn to kick in properly, so get all herbs you see.

This route crosses over horde territory and also gets close to an alliance section, so both sides play the caution card if you’re a fairly low level. The zone itself isn’t a large one, so I think you get a good amount of the rare ore as well as Iron.

More specifically, you’re able to buy healing potions and such from vendors, but they’re also mob drops, therefore they’ll be in the goldmaking listing below.
