13 Puzzle Games to Work Your Way Through in April 2026

This list of April puzzle games in 2026 doesn’t feature every game within the puzzle genre, but rather the ones I found the most interesting. These games are all featured on Steam, but may be on other platforms as well.

I can’t believe there are no hidden object games featured in this list, because I’ve played so many of them, and they, of course, have puzzle elements as a core feature. I suppose I’ll just have to sift through a HoG listing for 2026 then, maybe I’ll scout one out.

Or not.

It doesn’t matter, since here we’ll be talking about some of the puzzle games coming up in April 2026.

In this list you’ll find a mix of pure puzzle games, as well as games that have puzzles integrated into the gameplay themselves. So maybe not the overall focus, but perhaps the games just wouldn’t be the same without them.

Darwin’s Paradox

In the peaceful vastness of the ocean, Darwin, a young octopus, explores the deep sea… until a strange beam of light pierces the abyss and pulls him toward the surface. Thrust out of his aquatic world, he wakes up disoriented in the middle of a gigantic junkyard, backed by a foreboding factory.

But something is wrong. Between the threatening machines, strange holding tanks, and the mysterious and dangerous creatures and characters that inhabit the place, Darwin realizes he is in danger. To return to the ocean, Darwin will have to outsmart, evolve, and reveal to the players through his journey the mysteries of a conspiracy that goes beyond anything one could have imagined… and which could very well seal the fate of humanity!
