Hello everyone and welcome to a pros and
0:03
cons of the video game glass masquerade
0:06
Halloween DLC. Well, not now mom, I'm
0:09
gaming. These are short videos featuring
0:12
all my little nitpicks and pleasantries
0:13
with having played the game while
0:15
sustaining a bare minimum of spoilers.
0:18
My Patreon features storytime segments
0:20
for this game. If you know, you know.
0:23
Let the viewing begin.
0:25
Pros: Five extra puzzles. They didn't
0:29
have to give us a holiday themed DLC in
0:31
the first place, but to give us five
0:33
different areas featuring Halloween
0:34
themes was appreciated. And I like that
0:37
they're not just your generic pumpkins
0:39
and witches. There's still those, but
0:41
there's more depending on location.
0:45
Fairly difficult.
0:47
I appreciate the fact that these puzzles
0:49
have a bit more difficulty to them
0:50
compared to the base game. At least
0:53
that's how they were to me. Sure,
0:55
they're not going to give you 30 minutes
0:56
worth of trouble with finding what piece
0:58
goes where, but there's still the
1:00
hesitancy of not knowing where some of
1:02
these funky pieces go.
1:04
Cons: Black sections on the board. I
1:08
hate that some of these puzzles have
1:10
black parts to them. The background of
1:12
the board is black. So, while you work
1:14
on these puzzles and see the black
1:15
sections, you're going to think that the
1:17
black is the background. And so, you're
1:18
searching for these puzzle pieces to
1:20
these sections that don't exist. It's
1:22
really annoying to constantly be
1:23
searching for something that isn't
1:24
required.
1:26
Same soundtrack.
1:36
Come on now. We're doing a Halloween DLC
1:38
over here. And I understand wanting to
1:40
kind of keep to the whimsiness of the
1:42
background music, but make it a little
1:45
creepy, a little haunting. It doesn't
1:48
have to be unsettling, but why keep to
1:50
the same soundtrack as a base game for a
1:52
DLC that's part of a spooky holiday?
1:55
And that's the end of a present and con
1:56
review of Glass Masquerade Halloween
1:59
DLC.
2:00
Thanks for watching everyone, and don't
2:02
get in too much trouble when you say,
2:03
"Not now, Mom. I'm gaming.
