The mysterious ruins is a quest in
0:02
Grefall 2 of the dying world. You had to
0:05
find it by exploring the west side of
0:06
Lake Region. Then search the ruins for a
0:08
sword to get to furken.
0:10
You get the mysterious ruins quest by
0:12
traveling to the lower west side of Lake
0:14
Region. Once close enough, it triggers a
0:17
conversation with Shida.
0:28
forgi.
0:53
You've got choices. Tell her she's only
0:55
there to protect them. Reassure her
0:58
about the ruins. Give up visiting the
1:00
ruins. By reassuring her, you can
1:03
advance.
1:16
Ms. Dag
1:18
sag.
1:47
There are a group of bats at the top of
1:48
the steps to take out.
2:09
Once clear, climb the ledge and head
2:11
right.
2:27
Through the archway are a lot of
2:29
foreigners patrolling.
2:52
At the far side of the hostile area is a
2:54
building with a hole in the wall. Inside
2:56
is a chest with a high explosive.
3:38
Where you first entered the area,
3:39
there's a lower section with a breakable
3:41
wall. Use the high explosive on it.
3:54
When attacking the enemies, you might
3:55
get some tutorials regarding the
3:57
following dodges.
4:13
Critical hits and damage.
4:30
targetable items.
5:04
Once you've gotten through the wall,
5:06
start exploring until you reach an area
5:07
with sunlight coming through.

5:51
Within the room with an exit door, you
5:53
can find a charred book on one end of
5:55
the room.

on a dark

ancient. Sword is at the other side.
7:07
Leave the ruins and fast travel to
7:09
Bigger Shabaru to speak with Vulcan.
7:38
Hello for Berad.
7:42
Can I help you in any way?
7:46
We found this weapon in the basement of
7:49
the ruins.
7:50
>> How incredible.
7:52
Let me take a closer look, will you? It
7:54
is a blade of iron, therefore foreign to
7:58
this island. It is old. I would say it
8:01
dates from over a 100 years ago. The
8:04
style is elegant. Although the rust has
8:07
already begun its destructive work, it
8:09
should be restored. Perhaps then we
8:12
would learn more. In any case, it
8:15
reminds me of the work of the people of
8:16
my continent. But that is of course
8:19
impossible that an unknown people
8:22
reached this level of craftsmanship.
8:24
That they managed to reached your island
8:26
long before us. It's absolutely
8:29
fascinating.
8:31
Did you find anything else?
8:33
>> There were other items, but they were
8:35
very damaged. Too many to carry.
8:38
>> I see. That was to be expected. If you
8:41
allow me, I would like to keep this old
8:43
weapon. Perhaps I will learn more by
8:45
cleaning it.
8:46
>> Please. It's too rusty for me to use.
8:49
Anyway,
8:50
>> thank you for your help. This is a great
8:53
discovery.
9:02
>> Is there anything else?
9:05
>> Goodby.
9:07
>> See you later.
