Once a Slave is a mission in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey within Euboea.

Once a Slave Guide

Once a Slave

This mission is marked as an exclamation point on the southeastern section of Euboea. Speak with the guy and he’ll talk to you about a stolen vase. There’s a choice to be made, but it doesn’t matter what you choose, as it’s simply a change in dialogue.

Speak with his slave outside that’s wandering around.

There will be a choice option with him as well, but again, it’s just a dialogue change.

Once a Slave

Up north is a question mark area. Get close enough and send Ikaros out to scout ahead for the location of the vase as well as the enemies in the area. There are two Treasures on the outside, but the main one you’ll want is within the cave…along with some people trapped in cages.

Let them out in order to complete the location.

Once you have the vase, return to the slave owner and speak with him. There’s going to be an option for a couple choices.

Once a Slave

Choices:

  1. Bandits stole it.
  2. Your slave helped steal it.

(1) The good answer is the first one. The slave and master talk about him wanting to stay. During the conversation is another choice that either allows the master to keep the slave on, or talks him into going his own way in life while he still has the chance.

Either way it’s a win for the slave.

(2) The slave wants you to choose the second choice, but that’s not a good one. The owner will get mad and send the slave away without hearing anything else about it.
