This is a list of games that are available on Steam, and perhaps other platforms. This list does not depict every game that has come out within this genre, only the ones that caught my eye. Not literally. I try not to stare into the abyss for too long.

There will be no adult content in this list, nor anything that suggested AI usage. Some games may not be in this list, but others. I tried not to double-up gaming genres, all right?

Lovecraftian games of January 2026

Pathologic 3

You are Daniil Dankovsky: physician, researcher, prodigy. Your research into the nature of death has brought you to this remote town deep in the eastern steppe, looking for a man said to be immortal.

But the outbreak of a deadly contagion sweeps through the town. The immortal man is dead. You failed to stop it.

Now you must return to the beginning. Fix your mistakes. Save the town.

Jack is looking for his sister Layla. Following clues, he soon finds himself in a secluded forest. Before long, it becomes clear that Jack is not alone. And whoever — or whatever — is in there with him has no intention of letting him leave.

Along with his new partner, Harvey Whitman, an expert on cults, Foster dives deep into the shadows of the city of Arkham.

The case will get even darker when they find out it is related to three witches that escaped the Salem trials in 1693, and a conspiracy that could put an end to the world as we know it.
